• Subtitle tracks on the public series, with Japanese added on about half of them.
• Dubbed audio on a few series, such as Yes Ma'am and Under the Boss.
• An invitation, once an episode ends, to start a conversation inside Candy AI with that story's character.

Premium itself advertises unlimited texting, 18+ image and video generation, your own AI companions, a Full Live Action Experience and 100 tokens each month. Of those perks, only the tokens unlock episodes, so the others matter only if you also want the chat side.

What it costs

Plan prices below come from the US version of candy.ai/subscriptions, captured on October 22, 2026. Prices change, which is why the advice is simple: check the current price at checkout, then decide.

• 12 months: one payment of $47.88, equal to $3.99 per month.
• 3 months: $26.97 per quarter, equal to $8.99 per month.
• 1 month: $9.99 buys month one; month two onward is $13.99.

Checkout adds two shorter options, $9.79 for 2 weeks and $5.60 for 1 week. Expect local taxes on top, and auto-renewal stays on until you switch it off.

Premium is only half of the bill, because episodes cost tokens from the third one on: 12 each in most series, 30 each in Candy Creators series. For a 5-episode run, that means 3 paid episodes costing 36 tokens in most series and 90 in a creator series.

Who runs it and how the charge appears

EverAI Limited runs Candy AI from Santa Venera, Malta, and the Malta Business Registry lists it as no. C107181. Maltese law governs the Terms of Service, and for support the Terms point to support@candymail.ai. A named company, a registry number and a support contact are the minimum you should see before paying anyone.

On a bank statement, look for EverAI, the name the plans page gives for the charge. Payment can be by card or Pay by Bank, plus other local options.

So, is Candy AI safe? We cannot audit its security, so for us the word covers who runs it, how it bills and how you can leave.

On the Candy AI scam question, the platform itself holds up; the exposure comes from imitations. Candy AI runs in a browser tab. No adult version sits in either store, and the Get App option merely puts an icon on your home screen.

Refunds and cancelling

You cancel Candy AI under Settings, by choosing Unsubscribe. Access then lasts until the paid period runs out, after which you end up on a free account. If you switch plans instead, the change starts at the next billing cycle.

Refund rules live in section 10 of the Terms of Service and are narrow, so read them before paying. A Candy AI refund works like this:

• Subscriptions: the request has to arrive inside 24 hours of payment. Using more than 20 tokens gets the request denied, only card purchases count, and a technical problem on your side is excluded.
• Token packs: a request inside 24 hours, and only while the tokens are untouched. Card payments only.
• Buyers in the EU or UK get a 14-day window to withdraw from a first purchase, prorated for use; renewals are excluded.

Whichever you choose, a refund or a chargeback, the purchase ends immediately and any remaining tokens are removed.

The practical lesson is to decide quickly. A plan you regret on day 2 is far harder to undo than one you regret on day 1.

• Token prices per episode are published, so finishing a series has a predictable cost.
• The operator is a named Maltese company, and cancelling takes one trip to Settings.
• Free clips run about a minute, so sampling a series costs a few minutes.
• On a phone, the vertical player with subtitles and playback speed is comfortable to use.

Cons

• Paying begins at episode 3, and a long series adds up.
• Plans renew by themselves, and the 1-month plan rises after its first month.
• Leftover tokens expire, and the refund window is just 24 hours.
• Spicy titles sit behind Premium, and their episode prices are unverified.
• We have not measured how long paid episodes run, so we cannot tell you.

Who should skip it

Skip Candy Shorts if one of these sounds like you:

• You want to watch complete series without paying. Only the opening 2 episodes of a public series are free, and one series gives 3.
• You dislike recurring billing. Premium keeps renewing until you cancel it.
• You are under 18. The platform and this guide are for adults 18+ only.
