Episode 2: One night, her rules

Back in the dream, a blonde in black lingerie tells him the host is unavailable but she is, a palm on his chest. He walks the whole line-up, and the host, moving off under a spotlight, says she knows he is watching. Nobody ignores the menu, she tells him; he says the others feel unreal and she does not.

She cautions that he cannot grasp what she is; all he knows, he says, is that he keeps returning. She agrees to One night, my rules. and tells him to keep pace, and the final frame has her hovering above him on a circular bed ringed with glowing embers.

What happens after episode 2?

Two threads stay open: the host's true nature, and whether his pursuit can ever work on her terms. The series synopsis frames it as a game of choosing from the line-up. The locked episodes appear only as thumbnails: nude scenes with the blonde woman in the dream space, plus a tender close-up of a face held between two hands.

That last image hints at feeling beneath the fantasy, though nothing free explains it.
