One Bed With My Roommate: Candy Shorts Episode Guide

Two roommates, a rooftop and a third suitcase

This anime-style romcom stays in third person and follows Ren. He shares a city apartment with Yama Gito, and the kitchen, the living room and a rooftop terrace draped in string lights are the stage. Each morning Ren makes coffee for Yama, and she catches him staring.

Everything shifts when Yama's best friend Mira shows up at the door with luggage. Ren has also just lost his job, so the rent worry arrives before any romance does, and the apartment is suddenly crowded. Quiet breakfasts and rooftop evenings fill the free episodes, with plenty of lingering looks, and Candy files the whole thing under Fantasy as a slow-building roommate love triangle.

Episode 1: Coffee, toast, luggage

The morning ritual is cozy: coffee waits for Yama, she teases Ren about the toast after catching his stare, and over breakfast she says You're kind of the best roommate, you know that? He answers that she makes it easy.

On the rooftop that night, Yama muses that they may be too good at living together. Close beside him, she says she has something to tell him, then retreats and calls it nothing. The episode ends with Mira on the doorstep with suitcases, hoping for space for one more.

Episode 2: A bet over wine

Mira arrives heartbroken: Dorian ended things and kicked her out. Yama says it is a bad time, and Ren confesses I lost my job this morning. Splitting the rent 3 ways saves the apartment, so Mira moves in and immediately takes the big closet, the better shower and Saturday movie nights.

Over wine on the roof, Mira guesses that Yama likes Ren, which Yama denies. She suggests a contest: both chase Ren, whoever he picks wins, the loser steps aside, and he must never find out. Yama calls the idea insane but swears to reach him first.

What happens after episode 2?

The wager between Yama and Mira drives the next episodes, and Candy's synopsis adds that Mira's dangerous ex returns to collect a debt. Paid artwork offers beach and swimsuit scenes, a moment of Ren peeking through a doorway and a nightclub outing with Yama in a black dress. Those stills suggest travel and nightlife, with no nudity in sight.

Who is in One Bed With My Roommate?

Yama Gito is the Candy character in the lead, Ren's roommate and the one with feelings for him. Ren sits at the center of the story, the roommate who just lost his job.

Mira is Yama's best friend, newly dumped, and her ex Dorian is only mentioned. One caption spells her name Amira, so you may see both versions.

Is One Bed With My Roommate porn?

The free half is gentle: animation showing crop tops, shorts, flirting and a rooftop near-kiss, while nobody actually kisses and everyone stays covered. The paid artwork shows swimwear, a doorway peek and a night out, again without nudity. All characters are adults; the tone is romantic comedy first.
