With his father off on a work trip, the stepson comes home from college to find Veronica Parker waiting, dressed for a workout in pink. Her welcome includes house rules, and the first is to do whatever she says. Inside his head, he keeps repeating that he has a girlfriend.

Everything runs through his eyes, first person, and nobody uses his name. The location is the family's suburban home: living room, hot tub, bathroom and kitchen. After showing him his room, she suggests he join her in the water.

By morning she wears black lingerie under a pink robe and leans over in the kitchen to announce Rule number four, you don't pretend you didn't hear me last night. Outside, a car stops and his girlfriend calls that she has arrived. He says they should not; Veronica says she wants him right now.

What happens after episode 2?

The rules now have to survive a third person, as the girlfriend is on the doorstep and the father is still away.
